Weekly Content Recap: August 26-30, 2024

I missed last week so we’re doing a content update now, with one for this week set for Friday! We had some exciting things happening on both my gaming and regular YouTube channels, so let’s dive in!

Monday, August 26

We started off with a very interesting dream tour! This user went hard on the flowers and environmental aspect of their island, however there were some parts that were difficult to traverse. Check out the video below for a nice tour of Wildworld!

Touring ANOTHER random dream island!

A character from Animal Crossing standing prominently in the foreground. The character has a dark brown complexion, a long nose, and is wearing a white dress with pink accents. The character has blonde hair styled in a bun with a blue and white floral headband. To the right of the character, there is a yellow dialogue box with several options listed: "Search by Dream Address," "Search by island name," "Surprise me," "Revisit a dream," and "Never mind." The "Surprise me" option is highlighted with a purple oval and a white hand pointing to it. In the background, there is a blurred scene with colorful flowers and greenery. The text "Random Dream Tour!" is displayed in large, bold letters across the top left and bottom left of the image.

Stella wanted a pink palace vacation home, and I delivered! I made her a beautiful vacation home at Paradise Planning (via the Happy Home Paradise DLC) by gifting her souvenir chocolates from the Paradise Planning Office shop with Poki. As is typical with vacation homes and extreme home makeover videos, we have a version with and without commentary!

Stella’s Vacation Home | No Commentary

The image features an animated character with brown hair, wearing a red dress with yellow floral patterns. The character is holding a clipboard with a document on it. To the left of the character, the text "My Pink Palace" is prominently displayed in large, bold letters. The background shows a blurred image of a pink palace with green trees and a pathway leading to the entrance. The palace has a castle-like appearance with towers and a peaked roof.

Thursday, August 29

Ever heard of an affogato? No? It’s ice cream with a shot of espresso on it. I decided to try something another YouTuber did in a summer desserts video, were they made a matcha version of the treat. I tried, and I failed. Check out how badly I did below!

I tried (and failed) to make a matcha affogato | Blind Girl Kitchen

The image features the text "Matcha Affogato" prominently displayed in the center. The background shows a bowl containing a dessert, likely the matcha affogato, with a spoon placed on the right side of the bowl. The dessert appears to have a greenish hue, indicative of matcha, and is topped with what seems to be a creamy or ice cream-like substance. The background is slightly blurred, focusing attention on the text and the bowl.

Friday, August 30

While we didn’t debunk any villager hunting myths, we did shed some light on why you might not be able to find Raymond in Animal Crossing! Check out the video below where I go through how the game determines who you find while villager hunting and the ins and outs of mystery islands.

All about VILLAGER HUNTING in ACNH!

The image features two animated characters from the game Animal Crossing. On the left is a yellow dog character wearing a gold, green and orange plaid dress with a white collar. On the right is a pink rhinoceros character with a strawberry on its head where the horn should be, wearing a white shirt with a red tie and a red skirt. The text "Villager Hunting!" is prominently displayed in large, bold, white letters with a black outline, positioned towards the left side of the image. The background shows a blurred outdoor scene with greenery and a body of water.

Coming Up Next…

On my gaming channel, we’ll be doing another tier list ranking, redoing Shino’s house, and more! Over on my main channel, we’re FINALLY doing a WayAround demo where we show off WayTags! Stay tuned!
